All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator / Machinist Assistant for an immediate opening with a custom manufacturing company in Marysville, WA (near Tulalip Casino). We’re looking for someone with experience operating CNC machines to finish aluminum castings. Must have strong attention to detail to ensure precise, high-quality results. This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Pay for the Machine Operator / Machinist Assistant:
- $20 – $24+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location:
- Marysville, WA, near Tulalip Casino and Marysville Pilchuck High School, right off I-5
- Bus line accessible: The job site is just a 12-minute walk from the nearest Community Transit stop (Route 201)
- Conveniently located near Taco Bell and local restaurants, including Kami Teriyaki & Gyro One Mediterranean Grill
Schedule for the Machine Operator / Machinist Assistant:
- Monday – Thursday
- Day shift: 5am – 3:30pm

Machine Operator / Machinist Assistant Duties:
- Setup and operate CNC and manual machines (including mills and drill presses) to process aluminum castings
- Read, interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, and micrometers to check tolerances and meet specifications
- Deburr, grind, and finish aluminum castings to achieve specified smoothness and surface finishes
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to optimize production and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with quality control teams to inspect and verify the accuracy of machined parts
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a neat and clean work environment
Machine Operator / Machinist Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have some experience in a machining or production environment
- Experience working with aluminum castings is preferred
- Must be proficient at operating CNC machines and manual machining equipment
- Must have a strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials related to aluminum
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and drawings
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in machining is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
