All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Foundry Associate for an immediate opening with a custom manufacturing company in Marysville, WA (near Tulalip Casino). We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail who can follow detailed instructions to assist with aluminum casting. Prior foundry experience preferred, but training is available. Must be comfortable working with molten metals. This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Pay for the Foundry Associate:
- $20 – $23+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location:
- Marysville, WA, near Tulalip Casino and Marysville Pilchuck High School, right off I-5
- Bus line accessible: The job site is just a 12-minute walk from the nearest Community Transit stop (Route 201)
- Conveniently located near Taco Bell and local restaurants, including Kami Teriyaki & Gyro One Mediterranean Grill
Schedule for the Foundry Associate:
- Monday – Thursday
- Day shift: 5am – 3:30pm

Foundry Associate Duties:
- Assist with preparing molds for aluminum casting by making cores and prepping the production area
- Operate foundry equipment, including furnaces, ladles, and molding machines
- Monitor the melting process, including adjusting furnace settings and adding raw materials
- Pour molten aluminum into molds and ensure accurate fills
- Safely and efficiently handle hot castings, and demold molds
- Perform finishing operations such as grinding, sanding, and cleaning to remove excess material and ensure a smooth surface
- Inspect castings for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues to prevent production delays
- Record production data, including quantities produced, quality checks, and any issues encountered during the process
Foundry Associate Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a foundry or metal casting environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with aluminum casting processes and foundry equipment is a plus
- Must have strong attention to detail to follow specific instructions
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems with equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals, including supervisors and coworkers
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
